me.

I, Deon Griffin, am skilled in all-things filmmaking, but my lifelong passion is in directing. I directed my first short film Average John at age 10, and have since gone on to make dozens more. Many of my films have been screened at various film festivals around the world, some being awarded. During my time studying as an undergrad at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I interned at MTV in New York City. This opportunity launched my freelance career in the tv and film industry, working as a camera assistant and production assistant on various notable productions. From there, I obtained a Master of Arts degree in Film Directing from the Arts University Bournemouth in the United Kingdom.

Nowadays, I work as a Video Producer for the nonprofit organization Rotary International, traveling the world creating both commercial and documentary—style content. Outside of work, I pen feature-length screenplays and TV pilots, for which I actively seek funds to produce.
